- Connect a computer to the NETGEAR router and launch a web browser.
- Visit www.routerlogin.net. If routerlogin.net not working, try the following: 192.168.1.1
- Now, you are prompted to enter a username and password. Enter the default login credentials.
Note: username and password are both case sensitive
- Once done, click or tap Log In.

Note: If the default login credentials do not work, you might have changed the admin password. If you cannot remember your new password, you must perform a factory reset to restore the router to its factory default settings.

- Verify that your Netgear R7000P router’s power light is on.
- On the back panel of your Netgear Nighthawk R7000P AC2300 router, locate the factory reset hole.
- Use a paper clip or pin to press and hold the reset hole on your Netgear router for a few seconds.
- Release the reset hole.

- Launch any web browser like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera Mini, etc. and enter routerlogin.net into its address bar.
Note: You can also use your Netgear router’s default IP address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 as a web URL.
- A router login window displays.
- Click on Cancel.
- The Router Password Recovery window will display.

- Click on Continue.
